Katherine Heretis, MD, FACC
Dr. Heretis is a graduate from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her internship at New York Medical College and her residency at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. Katherine performed a research fellowship at NYU School of Medicine, Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery and then continued her cardiology fellowship training in New York at the Weill-Cornell Medical College. Dr. Heretis was on staff at New York Hospital of Queens as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine for several years before returning home to Chicagoland. Dr. Heretis is board certified in Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiovascular Medicine. Her areas of interest include women’s health, nuclear cardiology and cardiovascular disease.
